Each December, our community comes together to embrace the spirit of the season while making a meaningful impact. Our organization’s annual 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive brings residents and visitors together for a festive night out—supporting local businesses and brightening the holidays for children in need. We invite everyone to join us in transforming joyful moments into genuine goodwill.

Our Mission
The Alcona Schools Alumni Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to supporting educational opportunities for students in the Alcona community. Our mission is to invest in the future by providing scholarships that empower students to pursue higher education, develop their potential, and create meaningful impact in their communities. What began as a simple effort among alumni has grown into a lasting tradition that strengthens opportunities for local students year after year.
Why We Do It
We believe that education is a powerful foundation for growth, opportunity, and long-term success. By bringing alumni, families, and community partners together, we create a network of support that helps students overcome financial barriers and chase their ambitions. Every contribution—small or large—directly supports Alcona students as they take their next steps toward a brighter future.
🎅 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl — Community Holiday Toy Drive
Join us for a festive evening dedicated to celebrating the season while supporting students and families in the Alcona community. Although our roots are in education and scholarship support, this holiday event extends our mission of giving back and strengthening community spirit.
📅 Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
💲 Cost: Free to participate — please bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
👗 Dress Code: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies, or any cheerful holiday attire
🎁 Purpose: All donated toys will be shared with families in need, helping brighten the holidays for children in our community—an extension of our commitment to supporting Alcona students and local families.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to showcase your business and support the community.
